AVSil Silica Fabrics are high temperature fabrics used for a wide range of insulation and protection applications. AVSil has a minimum silicon dioxide content of 96% for optimum performance. AVSil Silica Fabrics can be fabricated into many forms to withstand continuous temperatures up to 1800°F (980°C) for various periods of time. (read more)
The AVSil standard-CH fabrics can be laminated with aluminized film or coated with silicone to obtain special performance properties. The aluminized film is used primarily for its thermal reflectivity and the silicone coated fabric is used for abrasion resistance. Both give gas and liquid impermeability. (read more)
